The Talang Semut is the name of an elit area of Palembang city. It was an exclusive Dutch and other European residence during the Dutch colonial era. All old buildings in the area are influenced by European architecture. The complex was built between early of 19 through 20 century. You can find an old church named 'Siloam" which still in use and in very good condition.
